1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the machine images (AMIs), the imaxe tool and the associated services that imaxe.cloud publishes through AWS Marketplace and this website. By subscribing to an AMI or using the tool you accept these terms.
2. Relationship with AWS
The AMIs are distributed exclusively through AWS Marketplace. Billing, usage metering and the underlying infrastructure (EC2, EBS, network) are the responsibility of Amazon Web Services and are governed by its own terms. imaxe.cloud has no access to your AWS account or to your instances' data.
3. Usage license
Subscribing to an AMI grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to launch instances in your AWS account. The included third-party software (Ubuntu, Zabbix, Nagios, etc.) retains its original licenses, mostly open source. It is not permitted to republish the images as your own or to resell access outside the AWS Marketplace mechanisms.
4. Maintenance and support
The images in the active catalog receive weekly patching and daily vulnerability auditing. Ticket support is included; indicative response times per plan are described on the contact page. Images marked as «legacy» only receive critical security patches and are maintained for existing customers.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the images in accordance with the law and with the AWS acceptable use policy. Using them for illegal activities, sending unsolicited email or attacking third parties is prohibited. We may withdraw access via Marketplace in cases of manifest abuse.
6. Warranties and liability
The images are delivered «as is», tested and hardened with professional diligence, but without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for your backups and for your infrastructure's configuration. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the software in the 12 months prior to the incident.
7. Bespoke services
Private AMI projects or bespoke infrastructures are governed by the specific quote and contract for each engagement, which prevail over these terms where applicable.
8. Modifications
We may update these terms by publishing the new version on this page with its date. Substantial changes will be announced on the blog and, for support subscribers, by email.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Santiago de Compostela, unless consumer regulations provide for another jurisdiction.
